As a community-supported not-for-profit, Discover Cayuga Lake offers periodic opportunities for potential supporters to meet our staff and board members, and get to know the organization. Your presence will support our work in Finger Lakes schools and on the Teal, and our mission “to cultivate informed and equitable relationships with people and the watersheds upon which we depend”. We are looking forward to meeting you … on the lake!

Our First Ever Docktoberfest: Happy Hour at the Dock!
Friday, October 3rd, 4-6pm at our home dock at the Allan Treman Marina
Help us celebrate another amazing season on the water as the season begins to wind down.
Enjoy drinks , appetizers and good company. We’ll share takeaways from our recent NYS Tourism Industry Alliance “Sustainable Tourism Award” and discuss opportunities for businesses and individuals to support our work in the community and a new boat, to be launched in 2026!
Pre-register to get early access to our silent auction, a raffle ticket, a free beverage and a free sunset cruise! Please pre-register if you’re able so we know who’s coming, though walk-ups are also free to join us.

Our Annual Gala Fundraising Cruise
Wednesday, October 8th, 6-8pm, departing from our home dock at the Allan Treman Marina
A Sunset Cruise, featuring a Silent Auction, Finger Lakes beverages, and light fare.
We hope you can help us celebrate the end of another amazing season on the water, and Teal’s 47th, and possibly last, birthday. We are inviting everyone to dress up a bit (not obligatory but we’d love to see your best boat outfits :), enjoy drinks and appetizers, a beautiful sunset (practically guaranteed!) and good company. We will also feature our silent auction and some fun raffles.
Please invite some friends- we hope to fill the boat!

NEW TIME! for October 2025, we’re running volunteer monitoring activities during our SUNDAY Fall Foliage Cruises, 4:00-5:30PM. Departing FROM Allan Treman Marina.
PLEASE NOTE: Local residents interested in participating in monitoring activities can sign up for free – use the “Local community members” booking option!
