WINTER 2025
Dear Friends,
We are excited to be gearing up for another great season on Cayuga Lake, providing affordable Floating Classroom field trips, internships and youth employment experiences for 1000s of regional students, and free community access cruise programs for 1,500 of your friends and neighbors around the lake!
Our entire community access program, and over $50,000 in scholarship funds we offer to schools and community organizations each year, is made possible by revenue from our public eco-cruises, matched with your donations to the Cayuga Lake Community Fund.
DCL’s 2025 CAYUGA LAKE COMMUNITY FUND GOAL = $60,000
Every donation received, be it $10 to $10,000, makes a difference. And, your choice to contribute affirms not only your love for our beautiful lakes and waterways, but also your commitment to making that love and understanding of these special places a real possibility for every young person living here, regardless of financial means or abilities or background.
Follow this link to make an online donation at a level of your choice.
Alternatively, there are specific program support opportunities available that may be of particular interest to you:
- You can adopt a Trout in the Classroom aquarium at a school in your neighborhood, for a $250 donation! Learn More Trout in the Classroom Here!
- Your individual or group donation of $3,500 can sponsor a paid summer internship for a local young adult. Learn more about our Watershed Internship Program here.
- We also offer a limited number of corporate sponsorships, great for community-minded local businesses.
I hope you can support our work this year, cultivating the relationship between our region’s two most important resources – people and water.
