Youth Crew (Ages 14–17)

2023 APPLICATION PERIOD BEGINS MARCH 1, 2023

Summer Youth Crew (July-August) 15-20 hours/week.

Youth Crew learn valuable job skills as junior crew on the MV Teal, assist with lake study and educational programs, and may pursue personal projects related to their areas of interest. We anticipate hiring approximately 5 first-year Junior Crew interns and at least one returning youth crew member in 2023.

Applications and questions may be submitted directly to us via email. However, first time candidates seeking a paid position must apply through one of the following local youth employment programs. Submit an separate application to the program that seems best for you, and note that in your correspondence with us.

• Learn more and/or apply for the Tompkins County Youth Employment Program (income based program for all Tompkins County residents)

• Learn more and/or apply for Ithaca Youth Bureau Youth Employment Services (open to youths in Ithaca, Lansing and Trumansburg)
